IMPERFECTLY PERFECT POTTERY
Welcome to the Imperfectly Perfect Pottery Collection.
These little, imperfectly rough amateur pieces of clay have been hand-made, glazed, and painted by little old me. I took up pottery as a small form of therapy — a way to slow down, create, and find calm. Somewhere along the way, I thought… maybe a few of these pieces might bring a little joy (and meaning) to someone else, too.
Every piece in this collection is shaped with intention, wobble, and heart — and absolutely zero desire to be flawless. Because perfection was never the goal here.
Each curve, ripple, and quirky tilt is a reminder that beauty lives in the bits that stray from straight lines — in the moments where the clay shifts, the hands wobble, and the result becomes uniquely itself.
These pieces are hand-made, hand-finished, and full of individuality. No two will ever be the same — just like the people who purchase them.
Unlike the rest of the Beyond the Label range, these little beauties come from something I was already doing for myself, so there are no production costs to cover. That means 100% of what you pay goes directly to an amazing cause — The Secret Burden.
The Secret Burden is an Australian charity providing education, awareness, and support in the body image, disordered eating, and eating disorder space. Founded in 2015, The Secret Burden starts the conversation, challenges the stigma, and creates change so early intervention can be achieved for those experiencing eating disorders across Australia.
So here’s to the wobbly, the wonky, and the wonderfully imperfect — and to making a little difference, one handmade piece at a time. 💛
